Help Bob Cain Choose A New NFL Football Team For 2012

As Popeye once said, "I've had all I can I stand, I can't stand no more!" At least that's what I think he said. He mumbled a lot. After losing hours of precious sleep to stay up and watch Tom Brady carve up the Miami Dolphins like grandpa does the Thanksgiving turkey, I have decided to abandon my long time favorite NFL team.

I don't know when I became a Miami Dolphin fan, but I do know I was very young when it happened. Dad still has the old 8mm film of me running around in a Miami Dolphin's uniform complete with #12 jersey and the helmet purchased through the Sears catalog for Christmas. I was only 4 or 5. The film is not clear. I suppose it was the fantastic Dolphin logo that inspired me to become a fan. I mean, what kid can resist a dolphin.

I have suffered through the years with this painful affliction. I have watched my team lose 2 Super Bowls. I watched our rival Buffalo Bills go to 4 Super Bowls only to lose all 4! ( Hey, if you are going to beat my team, at least win the Super Bowl so I can say my team lost the Champions! ) I watched with promise as Dan Marino set record after record only to make it to 1 Super Bowl because we had absolutely no defense. Then there was Marino's last game, a 62-7 loss to the Jacksonville. Simply unbearable!

Put it all together with last night's clinic on "how not to play defense in the NFL", and I have decided to search for another team to call mine in 2012. I realize, with my past history, that I cannot make this decision on my own. I need help.

Help me choose a team I can get behind and call my own for 2012 and maybe beyond. I am open to all suggestions. What NFL should I support? Give me your suggestions and reasons why.
