Here's hoping that everyone has a safe and fun Halloween.  For years, Halloween has been one of my favorite time of the year.  The decorating, the dressing up, the CANDY!  Ok, tell me you are not planning on rummaging through the kids' candy when they get home.  Fun size candy bars would be more fun if they were full size, but I guess if you eat eight or twelve of them, it would equal a full size.  As an adult, I still like to dress up in a costume.  This year, my two youngest and I are dressing as pirates.  This is the first year that we will have costumes with the same theme!  Can't wait to enjoy the festivities!  Halloween is still fun for all of those involved, even though it has changed a good bit from when I was hitting the streets with my pillow case, dressed as something we pulled from the closet, not from a "Halloween" store.  You didn't come home until your bag was full.  You cursed the guy that gave out nickels, threw a couple of eggs, or maybe tossed a couple of toilet paper rolls.  We sorted through our candy at the end of the night and traded off what we didn't like.  We had fun and typically nobody got hurt.  Unless you count how sick we got from eating so much candy.  We vowed to make the candy last, but it was usually gone in a couple of days.  Once again, have a very safe Halloween.  Watch out for the little goblins out there!
