Halloween Display Has Dummy Neighbors Calling 911 For Dead Body [PHOTOS]

A Halloween corpse is turning neighbors into dummies after repeated calls to 911. Larethia Haddon of Detroit, placed a life-like dummy in her front yard for Halloween. The decoration has tricked so many people, police have come to Haddon's house several times.

Haddon's daughter Kendrick posted pictures on Facebook, saying "EMS and Police keep coming by each day to pick up the dead body."

 
Every day Haddon tricks the neighborhood by placing the dummy in a different locations. She then treats herself by sitting back, sipping her coffee, and watching the looks of people who pass by. "People run up trying to do CPR. Once they find out it’s a dummy, it’s so hilarious," she tells the Detroit News.

The cops aren't laughing. They've asked Haddon to alter her decoration. "It would be great if they could put something along the lines of it being a display to alert to the citizens in the community so it doesn’t arise unnecessary concern,” Detroit Police Officer Shanelle Williams said.

 
Haddon has had the corpse on her lawn every year for the past 25, but this year neighbors are a little more spooked than usual. "Everywhere I’ve ever lived, it’s always been this way. But this year, for some reason, it’s getting a lot of attention,” she Detroit Newssays.
