The Bugatti Veyron might be the most sought after car for gearheads across the globe but even this modern marvel of machinery has a major flaw that literally brings it to a grinding halt.

The company’s official test driver Pierre Henri Raphanel took some drivers on a run in India along a long stretch of road that seemed perfect for the automotive beast.
When it came to overcoming the speed bumps, well…let’s just say the carbon fiber reinforced silicon carbide brakes can come in quite handy.

The Veyron’s body is designed to reduce air flow and friction to a tenth of a degree and in doing so, it has a very low level of clearance underneath the chassis. This means that even the most minute speed bump can bring it to its proverbial knees.
