Today marks my debut on WODZ - Oldiez 96.1, and I'm very excited about it. I love the music and have been around long enough that I played a lot of it when it was new. So, let me introduce myself.

My name is Greg McShea, and I've been in the radio business since 19...well, let's say awhile. For many years, I hosted a morning radio show on WTLB, an am  radio station that played top 40 hits, many of which are now on WODZ! From there it was off to what was then, Rock 107 and played some of the top rock songs of the time.

I've been a part of the Townsquare Media family for the past eight years, hosting a midday show on Lite 98.7 for a couple of years, and for the past six years on Big Frog 104. So now, I'm moving down the hall to Oldiez 96.1!

I've been a long-time Oldiez 96.1 listener, and I'm thrilled to be able to share with you "Central New York's Greatest Hits", and some of the background stories about the songs and the artists.

So, during the next few days, let's get acquainted. I look forward to your requests and meeting you at events along the way.

As the Beatles once said, it's a "Good Day, Sunshine"!
