If you are the one that takes a tv camping, you may be in the new breed of campers that are Glamping; camping but taking all the creature comforts of home with you.

Don't worry we can get you a portable generator to run the flat screen and computer if you need.

You may be part of the movement called Glamping. I don't know if it's a movement or not, but there have been some major renovations done to more than just a few barns and farm houses, and it really makes you think you're out on a farm somewhere. Of course, you're not, but you are just a short walk to the closest Micky D's and it happens to be around the corner of the barn.

You might be Glamping if you take your 42 "  flat screen with you, you take your espresso maker, or it takes two men and a mule to carry your luggage.

Does Glamping sound like you? Here's a couple of places you might want to check out.

Posh Primitive, 435 Stock Farm Road, Chestertown, NY

Posh Primitive features custom log/canvas wall tents with queen size mattresses covered in fresh linens, comforters, Pendleton wool blankets. Don't forget the wood stove stocked with firewood I think you get the idea

The Woods At Bear Creek, (just off route 16), Franklinville, New York

The Woods at Bear Creek have Glamping cabins with two bedrooms, private full bathrooms, heating and air conditioning, flat screen televisions, leather furniture and a GOLF CART!

This is a new level of camping. Enjoy, or just go back to a sleeping bag on a bed of leaves.
