The Giants' defense turned in a dominate performance against an out-of-sync Redskins offense as New York reeled in its first win of the season, 32-21 at MetLife Stadium Thursday night.

Big Blue registered two interceptions, a forced fumble in the red zone and blocked punt in the opening quarter that went through the end zone for a safety.

Eli Manning threw for 279 yards and connected on a 30-yard, fourth quarter touchdown pass to Odell Beckham Jr. to help the Giants move to 1-2. Beckham made seven catches for 79 yards. Rueben Randle had, by far, his best outing of the young season: seven catches 117 yards and a fourth quarter, 41-yard catch that was deflected then snagged and carried in for a TD.

Following the bizarre score, the Redskins' Rashad Ross returned the kickoff 101 yards to answer, capping a 32-stretch of game time that saw the two teams combine for three touchdowns.

Kirk Cousins finished with 315 yards, a TD and two picks as the Redskins fell to 1-2. Corner DeAngelo Hall need assistance leaving the field and did not return after suffering what looked to be a serious foot or ankle injury.

Meanwhile, the Giants hope to have Victor Cruz (hamstring/calf) in uniform for the first time this year when the visit the Buffalo Bills in Week 4.
