Have you ever noticed that gas is more expensive in Utica than in Syracuse? How about, did you notice gas in Utica is more expensive than in Albany? Well it’s only getting higher.

WIBX is reporting that gas prices will continue to climb at the pump.

AAA’s Ed Welsh says the average price in the Utica-Rome market is $3.67 a gallon, up three cents from last week and 15-cents over the past four weeks. Last year at this time, we were paying an average of $3.36 a gallon. The average nationwide price in $3.45 a gallon.

Why is it so high here? Is it magic gas? Does it have a special chemical to survive in Utica? I don’t get why it’s so expensive here.

Where do you find the cheapest gas?
