The jury has voted and the nominees for the 2014 Game Awards are in.

There are 16 game categories for this year's Game Awards and they really do cover everything.  The nominees were selected by a jury of 28 international media representatives. In order to be nominated for the Game Awards 2014, the game had to come out before Nov. 25, 2014. This means that the jury got advanced copies of some of the games which, I'm sure, makes us all super jealous. Across these categories, some of the games have the opportunity to be given two awards, such as Dragon Age: Inquisition, Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and more.

There are even more categories that viewers can vote on personally under the original 16, which include Most Anticipated Game, ESports Team of the Year, ESports Player of the Year, Trending Gamer and Best Fan Creation. So, with that said, make sure to get voting!

Whether your main focus of a game is its soundtrack, its theme,or its developer, there are categories for you in the Game Awards for 2014. Make sure to tune in live on Dec. 5, 2014 or attend the event in person to see which game wins which awards.
