Low-fare Frontier Airlines is adding seasonal non-stop service between Syracuse  Hancock International Airport and southwest Florida international airport in Ft Myers two

days a week, Wednesday and Saturday starting November 15th.

Additionally, it will offer service between Albany international and Ft Myers two days a week--Wednesday and Saturday starting November 17th.

Syracuse and Albany are among six new cities on a seasonal basis. The others are Las Vegas, Phoenix, Portland, and Salt Lake City. All the flights will be on the Airbus A320 jets.

Currently, no airline operates non-stop flights from Syracuse and Ft. Myres, a popular destination during the winter 'It's a big market for us' said Syracuse airport director Christina Callahan I can't tell you how many timed I've heard, " I wish we had non-stop flights to Ft MyersSouthwest already offers seasonal service between Albany and Ft Myers.

Frontier began serving Syracuse on July 2nd when it launched non-stop service two days a week to Denver and Raleigh/Durham, NC On Aug12th it will begin offering non-stop service to Chicago's O'hare airport three days a week.
