Former New York Mets Lenny Dykstra Pleads Not Guilty
Former New York Mets and Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Lenny Dykstra remains behind bars after pleading not guilty to grand theft auto and drug possession charges. The 48-year-old Dykstra is scheduled to return to court on July 11th. According to ABC 7:
Prosecutors say Dykstra leased three high-end cars using phony credit and business information. Authorities also found cocaine, Ecstasy and synthetic human growth hormone at Dykstra’s house when they arrested him in April. – ABC 7
Dykstra faces up to 12 years in prison if convicted.
