Photos from the Beatles first American concert will be auctioned off July 20th by Christie's auction house. Then 18-year-old  photojournalist, Mike Mitchell, was one of the few photographers with the fab four for their first concerts on American soil. The Paris Post-Intelligencer is reporting exactly what photos Mitchell is putting up for auction:

Forty-seven years later, Mitchell has made 50 silver gelatin prints from his negatives of the event on Feb. 11, 1964 at Washington Coliseum and of the band’s Sept. 13, 1964 performance at the Baltimore Civic Center. - The Paris Post-Intelligencer

Pre-sale estimate for the photos is $100,000.
