Police officer put their lives on the line every day. Unfortunately, there are times when officers make the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty for the state of New York. We want to make sure those officers who have Fallen are not Forgotten.

This week we salute Trooper Shawn W. Snow. was tragically killed when struck by an electrical current on August 3, 2008, in the city of Ogdensburg, St. Lawrence County. While repairing a flat on antique fire truck, the ladder of the fire truck was raised to redistribute the weight, making contact with a high voltage power line causing the death of Trooper Snow and the fire truck driver.

Trooper Snow was 47 years old. He entered the New York State Police on October 2, 1989 and was assigned to Troop B, SP Ray Brook - Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Unit.       .

If you know an officer who should be remembered in our 'Fallen But Not Forgotten' series email Don.Wagner@townsquaremedia.com.
