Police officer put their lives on the line every day. Unfortunately, there are times when officers make the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty for the state of New York. We want to make sure those officers who have Fallen are not Forgotten.

This week we salute Trooper James D. Conrad. was tragically killed instantly when a tractor trailer made a left hand turn into the path of Trooper Conrad's vehicle on route 15 near Bath As a result of an investigation, the truck driver was charged with failing to yield the right of way

Trooper Conrad had served in the Marine Corps and the Air Force before joining the State Police June 18, 1962. He served in Troops K and T before being assigned to SP Bath in 1964

If you know an officer who should be remembered in our 'Fallen But Not Forgotten' series email Don.Wagner@townsquaremedia.com.
