Fallen But Not Forgotten – Trooper Amanda D. Anna

Police officer put their lives on the line every day. Unfortunately, there are times when officers make the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty for the state of New York. We want to make sure those officers who have Fallen are not Forgotten.

This week we salute Trooper Amanda D. Anna. Trooper Anna died as a result of her injuries received in a traffic accident. Trooper Anna was in the process of attempting to catch up to a vehicle and traffic violator when she lost control of her vehicle while rounding a curve. Trooper Anna succumbed to her injuries a few hours later.

Trooper Anna was a 6 year veteran of the State Police at the time of her death.
