Due to a pretty dry summer, will this effect fall time in Upstate New York? Experts say get ready for a relatively short fall foliage season.

According to News 10, the New England fall foliage season might be a pretty short one due to the North Eastern portion of the country being so dry.

In particularly dry areas and those with thin soils, the leaves on some trees could turn brown and crispy and fall off.

However, it may be a short one but it still looks to be a beautiful one. The lack of rain also helps bring out the red colors in sugar, and red maple trees. This will help bring out beautiful colors, but remember, they probably won't be here long.
