Ever Bought Christmas Gifts And Forgot You Had Them?

For years and years I could not understand how this could ever happen.  What?  You bought something and forgot about it?  How can you do that?  Well, last year it finally happened!  My kids are at that age where they are just brimming with curiosity, so that means Dad has to hide the presents extra well.  We have a room in our basement that is primarily dedicated to....empty boxes.  Yep, I'm one of those guys that keeps almost every box from everything I have ever purchased.  From TVs to DVD players, to toasters and ipods.  What better hiding place for something than an empty box from something that the kids have absolutely no interest in?  Right?  The other day, as I was sorting through and getting rid of some of the old boxes, I came across 2 games that I had completely forgotten that we had bought for Christmas.  Battleship and Connect Four!  Couldn't believe it, but it happened!  Here's the good news.  The games are still relevant, so it just added for some extra goodies under the tree.  Have you ever forgotten about presents you had purchased?  I would love to hear your story and I would love to share it on the air!  Thanks for listening!
