The Clinton Historical Society invites you to a free program on Sunday, October 13th at 2:00 PM featuring local historian and artist,Ben Benson. The program will focus on American Presidents and First Ladies.

Held at the Clinton Historical Society’s building at No. 1 Fountain Street, Mr.Benson’s presentation will focus on a variety of topics related to politics and the American Presidency including the assassinations of four Presidents and the effect these events had on American history.

A special focus of his presentation will recognize the fifty year anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, the 35th President of the United States at 12:30 PM Central Standard Time on Friday, November 22, 1963, at Dealey Plaza, Dallas, Texas.

His original portraits of the Presidents are in the collections of numerous Presidential Libraries including Presidents Truman, Eisenhower, Carter, Reagan and Nixon.

There will be plenty of time for questions and refreshments after the presentation.
