In the world we live in today, it's easy to get wrapped up in communicating through our smart phones rather than face to face. Honestly I send much more texts, then actual face to face talks. I will text family, friends, rather than call. I’m not the biggest fan of the phone for some reason, and maybe you’re like me. But there are certain things that we should text, and others we shouldn’t.

There are certain announcements and conversations that should never be done via email or text messages. Here’s a few from AllWomensTalk.com:

  • Do Not Break Up With Someone Via Text Message: This is beyond low. It's disrespectful and coldhearted. If you aren't able to handle a difficult discussion with someone you have been intimate with, then you aren't ready to be in a relationship.
  • Don't Reveal Your Pregnancy In A Text: Babies make people happy, let your friends and family celebrate your joy with you, even if the extra attention can make you feel a little uncomfortable.
  • Leave Your Phone Alone When You Are Drunk: Drunk texting and emailing can be more damaging than drunk dialing -- don't give anyone embarrassing ammunition.
  • Don't Trash Talk or Gossip Via Text: What if you send it to the wrong person? Stranger things have happened!

What else do you think should be added to the list?
