Epic Car Theft Fail

In New Castle, Delaware, 30-year-old Donald Smith was arrested for stealing his own truck! Police were called to the Stop-N-Go Auto shop after a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado pickup went missing. The truck was being held because Smith had defaulted on a payment he owed for repairs. Surveillance tapes showed a front-end loader with forklifts attached driving away with the vehicle. The repair shop owner then called Smith to tell him the car had been stolen. Smith called back and admitted he was the guy who took it using the front loader! State Troopers spotted Smith, still driving the front loader and gave chase. 35-minutes later they caught up with him after Smith drove his truck into a pond.
