Sir Elton John is retiring from touring after one farewell trip around the world. The tour starts on September 8th and runs through 2021 with a total of 300 concerts with 2 stops in Upstate New York.

In addition to two stops at Madison Square Garden on October 18-19, two of the final dates will take place in Upstate New York with the first September 15th at the Key Bank Center in Buffalo and then later on March 1st at the Times Union Center in Albany in 2019.

"I've had an amazing life. I've had an amazing career. I've been incredibly lucky. My life has changed," Elton John said. "The priorities of my life have changed."

Elton John has sold more than 200 million records over his decades-long career, beginning his self-titled debut in 1970. "I want to go out with a big bang, " he said Wednesday.
