It looks like El Chico's Bar and Grill located in Rome, New York, is expected to re-open after Thanksgiving under new ownership.

El Chico's Bar and Grill opened it's doors for the first time back in the 1940's on Martin Street in the city of Rome. According to WKTV, we can look to see it back open again in December under new ownership. This new owner has plans to bring back some old favorites, and also introduce some new ideas.

John Lawson started the purchase of the building back in February of 2013. He bought the eatery from the estate of the Uvanni family, who ran the restaurant during it's glory days for more than fifty years. He says while he'll bring in a new flare, like three microbrews on tap at any given time, he'll keep the old menu intact with some favorite dishes like the M & M Sandwich, a cube steak sandwich with mozzarella and. He'll also serve classic favorites like greens and burgers."

We can expect to see the doors open coming up in December. El Chico's address is 6611 Martin Street in Rome.
