Where To Find Easter Bread In Utica and Rome NY

It just isn't Easter without eating Easter Bread. The classic bread dates back to the Greeks, and you still can enjoy this holiday treat, even locally.

Growing up in Rome, one of my favorite styles of Easter Bread was from The Franklin Hotel in Rome. I remember every year my Mom would tell the story of how they ate that bread growing up, and you bet we did the same.

Even to this day, you can pick up this bread at the Franklin Hotel, and even at Vescios Bakery and Deli on River Road in Marcy. You can pick it up through the Easter holiday for $5.99 at both locations.
