A water sample taken at the Village of Camden office earlier this month tested positive for the E-Coli bacteria.

Village officials say two other samples taken that day from the water distribution system did not have any bacteria present.

They say follow up tests showed E-coli still present at the Village Office, but two more samples of the water system had no bacteria present.

Officials believe it's an isolated incident and effects only the Village Office.

Addition sampling has been done to assure it's not a system wide issue.  The testing results are expected to be released on Friday.

Residents who are concerned may want to boil their water for ten minutes before using, but there is no boil water advisory in effect at this time.
