Drones Are Watching And There’s Nothing You Can Do About It

Well, did I get your attention?  Maybe they are not actually watching you, but their owners are checking out the scenery legally, and your property just happens to be in the way.  There really are no rules regarding where you can fly these things, other than the restricted air space that has already been outlined.

What if a drone is passing over your house because it might be getting some footage of the Mohawk River?

This article gives an example of someone who decided to take the matter into his own hands.

According to the Federal Aviation Administration, every inch above the tip of your grass blades is the government’s jurisdiction. “The FAA is responsible for the safety and management of U.S. airspace from the ground up,” said an agency spokesman, echoing rules laid out on its website.
