Donald Trump Rally At Griffiss Park In Rome [VIDEO]
An estimated crowd of between 5,000-6,000 central New Yorkers showed up to support Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump at a campaign rally at Griffiss International Airport in Rome on Tuesday.
Trump, who ran about an hour late, spoke for approximately 45 minutes to a packed hangar at the airport. The bulk of his comments were similar to what we've come to expect from Trump - jabs at current and former GOP and Democratic presidential candidates, some criticism of how delegates are awarded, and promises to a return of American greatness.
However, Trump did open with some statistics about the Utica-Rome region's jobs loss over the past few decades, rhetorically asking 'Is any body working up here? We gotta change this.'
