Of course America is trying to be as healthy as possible. A few places in America have passed laws requiring restaurants to publish calorie and nutrition information on their menus with the hopes that people would use that information to make healthier choices. Has this worked?

According to a new study, those laws aren't working. I know for a fact with me, they aren’t working. I don’t care how many calories a quarter pounder may have, I’ll still eat it.

According to ConsumerAffairs.com even though the menu labeling law has been in effect for a full year, it seems people’s behavior is remaining the same. The total number of sales and the average calories per transaction have been unaffected by the menu labeling. Take that healthy America as I chow down on my Spanish take out : )
