Do you remember when David Bowie was arrested in Rochester in 1976 with his buddy Iggy Pop for pot possession? He was busted at the American Rochester Hotel following a concert.

Bowie was held in the Monroe County Jail for a few hours before his manager bailed him out. He made his show in Connecticut the next night but returned to Rochester for his arraignement a few days later.

Bowie's mug shot was found in the trash at the estate sale of retired Rochester police officer by Gary Hess. Hess sold the photo on ebay in 2007 for $2,556 to help raise money for his sick brother, according to BowieWonderWorld.com.

Bowie passed away January 10th at the age of 69 after a long battle with cancer.
