Demolition Of U.S. 281 Bridge In Marble Falls Texas

YouTube

Want to watch a old bridge explode? Why not? U.S. 281 was the largest bridge of its kind to ever be demolished in the state of Texas. It was one heck of an explosion and you can check out this cool video.

Over several thousands of spectators gathered at Lake Marble Falls to watch the implosion. It was a family outting and a pic nic. The Texas Department of Transportation demolished the 1930s-era bridge to make way for the second of two new bridges to more safely accommodate traffic.
