Now that December is here, we're really getting into the winter season. So, what will the weather be like this month in central New York? Let's take a look.

Here's the long range weather forecast for December for central New York, according to my favorite source, "The Old Farmer's Almanac 2015":

"DECEMBER 2014: temperature 28° (4° below avg.); precipitation 2.5" (0.5" below avg.); Dec 1-7: Rain and snow showers, mild; Dec 8-15: Snow showers, cold; Dec 16-19: Lake snows, cold; Dec 20-26: Snow showers; cold east, seasonable west; Dec 27-31: Lake snows, very cold."
