It's been 30 years since Syracuse native and ABC World News Tonight anchor David Muir started his career in television.
Can you believe it? Muir, now 43 began as an intern at WTVH television in Syracuse when he was only 13 years-old.

He appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Thursday night (9/28) to talk about "World News Tonight" being named the #1 most watched newscast for the 2016-17 season, and his career.

Muir got his start in the television news business when he contacted someone in the newsroom at the station. He was brought aboard to help carry camera tripods, and rip stories from the news service wires. That landed him his job at the station after graduating Park School of Communications at Ithaca College in 1995.
