Charlie Sheen announced that he's donating one percent of the profits from his FX show Anger Management to the USO. Charlie, who'll fork over the first installment of $250,000 in a private ceremony later this week, says, "It's an honor for me to be able to give back to these men and women of the military who have done so much for all of us.

 

How I Met Your Mother Season 9

According to Variety, CBS has entered into talks to extend ‘How I Met Your Mother’ through a ninth season. The move comes after how the most recent season experienced an unexpected ratings surge up to 8.5 million, having initially peaked in its ratings around 2008.  ‘How I Met Your Mother’ remains CBS’ youngest skewing show as well, with a  median viewer age of 45.  Yeah, seriously.

 

Roger Waters On Top

The top tour of the year doesn’t belong to a music act, but we don’t think that necessarily concerns the artist at No. 2 on the Pollstar list of Top Grossing Tours of 2012. Former Pink Floyd singer Roger Waters has raked in $61.9 million in North America alone and $158.1 million globally in ticket sales from his ‘The Wall Live’ shows. The singer has reportedly sold over 1.4 million tickets (575,000-plus in the North America) since the start of the calendar year.
