State Police cancelled this Amber Alert at 8:14 p.m on Friday night. We'll update you with more information as it become available.

At 6:50 p.m on 6/12/15 New York State Police issued the follow information to the public in connection with a child abduction: State Police are looking for a Texas fugitive with a 'violent history' and who is armed in  connection with a child abduction in Chenango County, New York Friday evening.

Police say 18-month-old Henry Kellam was taken near Canal Street in Oxford at around 6:35 p.m., Friday.  Authorities say their suspect, the boy's non-custodial father and also named Henry Kellam, has a violent history, is a fugitive from Texas and is armed with a handgun. The 31-year-old suspect has also made threats to shoot police, according to an alert posting at Amber.ny.gov.

Kellam is said to be white, 6-feet 3-inches tall, 145-pounds with brown hair and green eyes. He was last seen driving a white Buick LaSabre with Texas plates.

The younger Kellam is described as 2-feet 11 inches tall, white with a brush cut, brown hair and green eyes.

Anyone with information is asked to call New York State Police at 1-866-NYS AMBER or 9-1-1.
