It should start to feel like Spring next week as we're expecting much warmer temperatures with dry conditions.

Just as we're ready to drain our bank accounts to go searching for some warm weather and the elusive sunshine it looks like we are on the brink of some average temperatures for this time of year.

...Much drier air with this high-pressure system should lead to fairly large temperature spreads each day and generally mostly sunny skies. Temperatures will gradually warm (20`s/30`s for lows and 50`s for highs) through Sunday. Southerly flow will increase Monday and Tuesday along with the prospect of getting close to normal with high temperatures. Tuesday will see an increase in clouds later in the day as a low-pressure forms in the southeast portion of the country and starts moving northward... Highs may end up a couple of degrees warmer in the low 60`s...

 

Today: Scattered snow showers before 1 pm, then scattered flurries after 1 pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 40. Northwest wind 11 to 17 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Tonight: Scattered flurries before 9 pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 27. West wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light northwest after midnight.

Saturday: Partly sunny, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 49. Northwest wind 5 to 14 mph.

Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 27. Northwest wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Sunday: Sunny with a high near 54. West wind 3 to 8 mph.

Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 29.

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 59.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 62.
