Could A Full Blown Ice Age Begin In 2014

Are the recent Polar Vortexes we have felt in Central New York, and all over the country be the beginning of a full blown Ice Age in 2014? Some conspiracy theorists and scientist think so.

I was surfing the internet and stumbled across a thread from Godlike Productions, a site devoted to aliens, bigfoot, and general conspiracy theroies. However, one board, started to raise the question of an ice age:

Snow blitz which means it starts snowing and it keeps on snowing, non stop.

Many scientists concur.

Remember 1 inch of rain equates to 10 inches of snow so do the math on some of the torrential rain storms we have been getting this year.

Everything will be stopped dead in it's tracks and won't be starting back up."

Could this really happen? The poster links to a site called Ice Age Now.

And since the last ice age ended almost exactly 11,500 years ago . . ."

So are we living in a world similar to "The Day After Tomorrow"?

Comments on the post go on to say things like "Stock Up", "Food will be like gold", and that it's really happening. But do they have any facts?

For now I guess we will sit back and relax until science provides better answers.
