Have you seen the new Campbell's Soup ad featuring two dads feeding their son? To no surprise, its causing quite the controversy with complaints popping up on social media, calling for Campbell's boycotts. Wait til you read the responses.

Kim Spears Cook received a 'tip' after telling Campbell's the ad "makes me sick." The response suggested she enjoy a cup of 'hot' soup to "warm up your cold, dead heart."

One Million Moms has even started a campaign to have Campbell's pull the ad:

"This gay-inclusive commercial is attempting to desensitize viewers. There is concern about the way this ad is pushing the LGBT agenda, but an even greater concern is the that they are attempting to redefine “family” and “real marriage.” Please contact Campbell’s Soup urging them to pull this inappropriate commercial immediately.

Also, let Campbell’s Soup know continuing to air this ad and other offensive advertisements in the future will force your family to make the decision to no longer purchase any of Campbell’s Soup Company brands."

Larry Sullivan and husband David Monahan are the ad 'dads' causing all the controversy. The boy is their real son, 3 year-old Cooper. David tells People, “All we’re trying to do is pay for preschool and our mortgage! But we’re happy to be that couple who put ourselves out there to just show that families come in all shapes and sizes.”

Despite the controversy, there are more who support the ad than are against it.

Count me in as a supporter! It's 2015. What difference does it make if a child grows up in a family with two moms, two dads, a mom and a dad or a relative? If they grow up surrounded with love and support, that's all that matters.

What do you think?
