The community came together to support the Blossvale family mourning the loss of their 4 year old son Gavin Warren, who tragically drowned in a swimming pool. Friends and family lit candles and lanterns in front of the McConnellsville fire department, where Gavin's father John is a volunteer.

After a prayer and moment of silence, lanterns and balloons were released into the sky before everyone sang 'Amazing Grace.'

The vigil was organized by the community to show the family, who lives across the street from the firehouse, support during this difficult time.

Police discovered the boy after responding to reports of a missing child. His body was later found, unresponsive in a swimming pool. Police are still investigating.

A GoFundMe campaign has also been set up to help cover funeral expenses.
