With the Comets 4-1 win in Grand Rapids last night, we are guaranteed another home game! You think Central New Yorkers had Comets Fever before, it's more true now!  If the Comets lose in Grand Rapids tonight, they will be back for Game 6 in Utica on Tuesday, June 2nd.  If the Comets win tonight, they've got a good shot at bring the Calder Cup Playoffs to The Aud.  Either way, people are so excited this morning.  What about the folks in Grand Rapids?  It looks like they were pinning a lot of hope on winning at home, and we beat them at their first chance on home ice.

It seems like it’s been forever since the Grand Rapids Griffins have played a game on the home ice at Van Andel Arena.

Pretty exciting I guess. And their Coach is about to head to the NHL.  Here's recent interview with Red Wings Ken Holland regarding Grand Rapids Griffins Coach Jeff Blashill:

They should be pretty pumped. But I still think we WANT this even more.  After all, this is Utica - Home of the Comets!
