Of course this morning driving in I was lucky enough to have a mug of coffee, and of course, spill it all over myself. It made a mess, and life goes on. I love when people always tell you how bad coffee is. Guess what? You’re wrong my friends.

According to a new study, people who drink coffee are more likely to live longer. Interesting right? Also, it doesn't matter if it's regular or decaf. Researchers found that each cup of coffee per day increases the chances of living longer.

Now of course with these kind of studies there is always a downside. Coffee drinkers are more likely to smoke, drink more alcohol, eat more red meat and exercise less than non-coffee-drinkers, so those chances of living longer end up getting nudged back down again. So, if you do any of those bad habits you probably just cancelled out the positive effects of coffee.

If you're a coffee drinker and you can cut out all the other bad stuff, you're in great shape. So next time someone says “Do you know how bad drinking coffee every day is?”, you can just smile and sip your Joe.
