Schools in England have started replacing analog clocks with digital ones which sounds like a normal progression, but that's not really the point. They're doing it because students no longer know how to read them! But that's not the point either... In case you missed it, we're talking about SCHOOLS (<---Yes, let that word sink in) going digital where kids don't know how to read the hands of time. Now in all fairness, these are colleges that are removing the clocks so kids should already know by then, but what about the primary schools that lead up to those??

Seems to me that if you're a school not teaching kids how to read analog clocks that maybe you should hand in your 'school card'. So, the follow up story to this one in a few years: Kids not knowing how to write anymore because everyone types everything now! Or, kids not knowing how to count money anymore because it's all just numbers now anyway.

Okay, now that my rant is over, none of us use sundials anymore, so maybe we're gonna be okay.
