Local Pro Stock Driver Bret Belden of West Edmeston NY in SEARCH FOR A CHAMPION Contest has opportunity to win a $10,000.00 sponsorship from Federal Mogul and Champion Spark Plugs.

Bret's home track is Utica-Rome Speedway however, he has raced at Brookfield, Fonda, Lebannon Valley, Brewerton, Fulton, Penn Can, Five Mile Point, Afton and many other tracks since the start of his career in 1978. Bret is entered into The Search for a Champion contest being run by Federal Mogul and Champion Spark plugs. The contest is looking for Champions and each winner in the 5 categories will be given a $10,000.00 sponsorship and then one lucky entrant from the 5 finalist will be given a $50,000.00 sponsorship from Champion spark plugs for the 2012 season. Bret has shown over the years he is a champion on and off the race track making many scarfices to not only compete at the race track but, be involved in community events (helping the local childrens hospital, visiting boy scouts and bible schools etc).
