Classic Car Tuesday – Ken Sheets 1938 Blue Sedan Delivery

This Blue 1938 Chevy Sedan Delivery is in great shape considering the age of the car and is this week's 'Classic Car Tuesday.'

Ken says this is a delivery truck as opposed to a panel truck. The delivery was on the car chassis, the panel truck was on a pickup frame and was used for larger jobs.

This 38' came from California and went through a complete restoration in the early 80's. The sedan is running a 350 bored to a 368 running a mild street cam. The front end is out of a 77 Ford Mustang. Finally, the sedan is running a 9-inch Ford rear end.

Ken says the car has had only 3 or 4 owners. The body of the 38 is all steel, the bumpers and running boards are fiberglass. Ken said he's pretty sure the original color of the sedan was blue
