New York State Police have arrested 34-year-old Sean McDonald of Chittenango for felony DWI. The incident occurred on State Route 12 in The Town of Remsen. McDonald was pulled over for speeding on Saturday, and it was discovered that he allegedly had an open container of alcohol in the vehicle. Also in the vehicle was a six-year-old child.

McDonald was charged with Felony DWI, for having a child in the vehicle, under “Leandra’s Law”, speeding, consuming an alcoholic beverage in a vehicle and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He was arraigned and committed to the Oneida County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash or $30,000 bond bail.  McDonald is to appear on December 14, 2016, at 6:00 PM, in The Town of Remsen Court.
