One of the most popular restaurant chains in the country is finally here after an  announcement was made almost a year ago saying they were coming to upstate New York.

Chick-fil-A announced the first location in upstate New York would be in Cicero. Yesterday more than a dozen people lined up before 6 am to get their first taste of the food at the restaurant at 7916 Brewerton Road.

The restaurant's 100 employees have been training and prepping for opening day and expect to go through about 800 lemons on their first day for their homemade lemonade, but weren't sure how much chicken would be sold. The restaurant serves breakfast as well as chicken sandwiches, wraps and salads, the restaurant is closed on Sundays

In addition to the Cicero location, Chick-fi-A has confirmed a total 4 locations that will come online in 2018/2019, Those locations for New York will be in Buffalo, Plattsburgh, Rochester and the current Syracuse location in Cicero.
