Don't worry, even though it's August, we're only halfway through summer. So, what kind of weather we will get in central New York during this brand new month?

Let's see what August has to offer for central New York, weather-wise, according to my favorite "go-to" source, "The Old Farmer's Almanac2014":

"AUGUST 2014: temperature 73° (4° above avg.); precipitation 2" (2" below avg.)

Aug 1-7: T-storms, then sunny, nice;

Aug 8-12: Scattered t-storms, warm;

Aug 13-24: Sunny; cool, then hot;

Aug 25-31: A few t-storms, warm."

Looks like August in the Utica-Rome area will be a little warmer and drier. We'll see.
