One of the events I look forward to in late summer in central New York is the Clinton Art & Music Festival, and it's going on this Saturday. The Village of Clinton offers a pleasant setting for live music, artworks, food and fun.

Here's what it's all about, according to www.artandmusicfest.com:

"Saturday, August 23, 2014 • 10am (ALL DAY)

9th Annual Festival!

Plan to make the trip to Clinton, New York on Saturday, August 23th for a full day of exceptional live music, impressive artist wares and demonstrations, kids' activities, and a wide variety of interesting and healthy food selections. The Clinton Art and Music Festival, now in its ninth year, offers one of the most impressive and varied musical line-ups of any Upstate music festival, featuring over 20 musical acts -- from solo acoustic to 10-piece swing, Gypsy to Gospel, Irish to Oompah, jazz to Americana. Nine stages feature notable guests from all over the Northeast -- and its all FREE! But there's so much more.... musical petting zoo, art tent, and clay activities. Everything gets underway mid-morning and goes on until dusk."

For a complete schedule of Saturday's events, visit free admission to 9 live music sites!
