Celebrate 'Bald Eagle Appreciation Day' with the Utica Zoo

The Bald Eagle has been the American Symbol since 1782 and is one of the largest raptors in the world. Once endangered by hunting and pesticides, Bald Eagles have flourished under protection in CNY. Join the Utica Zoo on Saturday, January 21st at 12:30 for a Bird of Prey presentation in the auditorium. At 2:30 pm, a keeper will talk about their Bald Eagles, Fred who is about 30 years old, Ginger who's about 20 and newcomer Colden who's 11 years old at the Utica Zoo exhibit.

Both programs are free with your admission to the zoo.
