Maybe one of your biggest regrets of the summer was you missed Bruce Springsteen at Vernon Downs. Well if you're willing to take the drive to Virgina you may be able to see the boss for free.

Bruce Springsteen recently expressed his support for President Barack Obama and now he's even agreed to a free concert at an Obama event in Virginia later this week. The singer revealed via his website on Sunday (Oct. 21) that he’ll perform a free show at Charlottesville’s nTelos Wireless Pavilion as part of the “Obama for America” campaign.

“The Boss” expressed his support of Obama in his recent letter, explaining, “We’re still living through very hard times, but justice, equality and real freedom are not always a tide rushing in. They are more often a slow march, inch by inch, day after long day. I believe President Obama feels these days in his bones and has the strength to live them with us and to lead us to a country where … no one crowds you and no one goes it alone.”

Tickets are available at two locations: OFA-Charlottesville on the UVA Campus located at 1325 W. Main St. in Charlottesville and at the OFC-Charlottesville Office at 407 E. Main St. in Charlottesville.

Celebrity Of The Day

Let's honor the Boss.
