The second of three defendants in the Floyd bombing case was sentenced on Friday in Oneida County Court.

Cindy Shields will spend 12 years behind bars for her role in planting an explosive device that critically injured corrections officer Alan Dobransky in May.

Shields had been the caretaker for Dobransky's mother in Ohio for four years and allegedly stole money from her.

Dobransky had planned to make a report to law enforcement and that's when the three conspired to plant an explosive device outside his home.

Donna Seppi was sentenced to one and-a-third to four years in prison last month.

Keith Seppi will be sentenced later this month.
