There's a new product available to us called caffeinated peanut butter designed to provide a consistent release of sustained energy. One serving has as much caffeine as two cups of coffee.

This is developed by a company called STEEM:

STEEM is designed to provide a consistent release of sustained energy and the naturally slow digestion of peanut butter is the key to that. STEEM delivers protein, electrolytes, and caffeine, granting you hours of endurance and focus, and freeing you from distractions like hunger and fatigue.

STEEM is the brainchild from a couple of guys looking to cure hangovers. I don't know if it works for that, but it's caught the attention of CrossFit trainers. You can find caffeinated peanut butter for sale at stores, gyms and their website.

Today.com reports the product is made of peanut oil, salt, peanuts, and agave nectar, with a green coffee extract mixed in for the caffeine. The directions say to enjoy it however you would normally enjoy peanut butter: spread it on crackers, toast or fruit; re-acquaint yourself with the simple perfection of the peanut butter and jelly sandwich; or just jam a spoon or a finger into the jar and eat it like you do when no one's looking.

There are some strict warnings about giving this to animals. DO NOT GIVE TO ANIMALS. EVER. Fun fact: a lot of domestic animals, like dogs and cats and birds, cannot digest caffeine properly, and it can lead to SERIOUS health issues. It's also not recommended for children.

If you think this is something you want to try, then skip that extra cup of coffee.
